Are Superheroes Taking the Place of Gods?
I think there's a human longing to be able to wish that there was a solution like that, right? A solution that saw one answer to a variety of intractable, unsolvable problems. And I think superheroes, especially when they're giving bad guys or evil or or they're due. There's just this feeling so often that evil gets away with evil and there's a sense you get almost misty eyed when the right outcome happens.
