Is Performance Important in BQN?
There's no equivalent of like an NY's reduction in BQN. I had always done the... Like moral equivalent or spiritual equivalent, at least of what I thought,. So basically, you turn a rank one array into a matrix and specify how many elements do you want on each row. In profiling that, I realized, holy smokes, the creation of that matrix is brutal. And really what you want to do is like a take a drop one and a drop negative one. That is the performance equivalent of doing the NY's reductions. It exists in every language including the most popular ones in the world like Python ramble over.
