Indian companies need to be more generous when it comes to layoffs, says Ravi Agrawal. Companies should also make sure that they communicate orally at least if not in person and spend half an hour interviewing people for the right job. The best employees will get affected by a company's decision to let go their superstars though you would have retained them because they know tomorrow another downturn these guys will do the same thing to me.
