The Power of Affirmation

We're so used to hearing what we're not good at, the simple act of telling someone they can be themselves that they're already doing a great job is incredibly powerful. We live in a society that's really kind of about achievement and is about kind of being an expert,. And more people need teachers, camp counselors, mentors, the types of people that are like, you got this, you're doing agreat job nudging us along. I think if everyone had those types of people in their life, we'd be in better shape.
