Introduction
Every film has a strong genre element. Even if you're writing an indie film, there is always a genre element. Wes Anderson's cool hit cuteness and odd characters in the really beautiful tableau's are part of his genre. Charlie Kaufman's genre changed as he evolved in his career with films like Seneca Keeney York or Anna Melissa. The darkness becomes surface and the romantic comedy element kind of disappear.
