The End of the Will
For every man, natural desires beatitude. A lot of times people confuse the will for the good or for happiness with a will for one's own private good. This conflicts with thomas's whole understanding of how the universe is ordered. And even when we will other people, he thinks that there's an order of love. Everybody does a before akem not just that we should love ourselves more than others. But that we have to, at least with respect to our spiritual goods and with some other conditions. Am why? Because we're all part of some bigger good, the order of the uni erse.
