GraphQL: A Monolith
In traditional GraphQL, the data is fetched by a central team. But in federated model, that's split up across many different teams. So you still have this unified API, the one schema. But the Schema is sort of split across many different Teams. And then as soon as one backend team implements it, it's directly available for the clients to use. It gives you some of the advantages on top of doing the classic monolithic way.
