Evolution and Isolation

Evolutionary biologists believe that black bears became white because of a paripatric speciation event. This is when species become so spread out geographically they can no longer reproduce with one another. The island rule would give scientists a chance to see if these aguanas will grow larger or smaller as the result of being cut off from the main genetic body of them.
