The Importance of Starting Early in Tests

The weather forecast at Old Trafford was spot on, but how many times have we sat and gone? Definitely not going to play tomorrow. And they do. You can't alter your conditions just because of a weather forecast that might be wrong. I think it is a no-brainer for Test matches in England to start a bit earlier. It gets light so early here. If you know that time's likely to be lost, then tweaking an extra half hour here or there can help get by you a session across four days.
