CNN's John Sutter asks to what extent does virtual connection replace in-person connections. He says it depends on how you do it, like texting a friend or using FaceTime and Zoom. "I think that virtual connection works less well if you're not doing it in real time," he says.
Dr. Laurie Santos is Professor of Psychology and Head of Silliman College at Yale University. She is the host of the podcast The Happiness Lab and is an expert on human cognition and the cognitive biases that impede better choices.
