i think one of the most common refrains in this pongas, going back many years, is the engles idea of false consciousness. Ineffectually, the idea is, why aren't they voting with their own self interest? And that feeds into this kind of idea like, if we can only shut down the tucker carlsons of the worldnd. But there's literally no changing that. There's nothing, tha, you can do some sort of magic pill that's going to prevent that.
