The Importance of Genuine Dialogue
I hope you can take the opportunity to dig deep and find out how the other folks in your life see the world. It's not the same as agreeing with them or giving in to them, but it is acknowledging that your point of view doesn't have a lock on the absolute truth. As Voltaire said, uncertainty is an uncomfortable position. But certainty is an absurd position.
