Alicia Talbot and John Heckle

John Heckle and his sister Alicia Talbot lost their mother in 1991. At 40, Kathy Heckle had spent half her life working at the local paper plant. John's career frequently took him away from home, sometimes for weeks at a time. His wife of 18 years seemed to have that on her mind when she dropped him off for his latest guard assignment. She asked me why I had to be there so early, which didn't make sense to me because I was always no one there. He thought about the time Kathy donated a kidney to save her brother's life.
