The Life and Times of Fred Hampton
Fred Hampton was an organizer pretty much immediately. In high school, he organized anti racist campaigns against the conditions of the school and as well as around disparity and treatment of black students and athletes. He became the president of the NAACP's youth branch in at the college in 1967 - just a year after he graduated high school. So, I mean, before 20 years old, he was becoming a national figure in civil rights activism.
