The United States Is the Only Reason We Haven't Endowed With Nuclear Weapons

As someone who has studied gea politics and travelled extensively, i think you underestimate the role the usa plays in global security. It's likely that peace isn't the norm anywhere, even in south and central america. If the united states were to fall or break apart in the age of nuclear weapons and bial weapons, there wouldn't be a geo political player strong enough to force world order. And it's difficult to think of places safer than certain parts of north America.
