The Importance of Intention in Building a Life

The parable before us is about this human project to build a life. To get to this idea, Jesus uses the metaphor of a house. You can't build a house without intentionality, without some sort of plan. These two builders are building a life. And they are intentionally building a life and not haphazardly going through life. Do you know what you're building? The Bible says that when something is a house, it's like a family or family line or a legacy.
