Is There a Stop Start Inflationary Period?

In the 70s, we had stop start inflation where the Fed chairman at the time, Arthur Burns, eased off inflation too quickly. And then it kind of came roaring back and then Powell eventually had to get completely draconian and take Fed funds to something like 18%. So I guess my question to you is, how long is it before we ultimately stamp out this inflationary impulse? And do you see the risk of a kind of stop start inflationary period? In the US, I'm not sure, but I think it's a really interesting subject in the rest of the world and especially in Europe.
