Non Compete Clauses - Is That a Good Idea?

There's been a massive proliferation of non compete clauses. California has one of the strongest laws, but other states are following suit. We're currently working with a coalition to try to get state bar associations to acknowledge that this is happening and make clear that it's unethical for lawyers to be including blatantly unenforceable contract provisions in worker contracts.
