What's Happening in Maly?
Maly really has a long history of government that is both very focused on the capital in the south and tends to ignore other north and more distant regions. And it's often also been a government that has had serious allegations of corruption. In that absence of the state, no grievances can grow. There's been growing criminality. And jeharists are able to even win support, in some cases, from the local communities by offering a form of justice, even if really brutal.
