Android Studio and IntelliJ: A Symbiotic Relationship

Android Studio is a collection of plugins, but we also have hooks that are really deep in the platform to allow us to customize not only the UI and the appearance. We need to sometimes start from scratch and figure out how to reapply stuff. It takes a long time, both for the merge and for the stabilization phase. And that induces a delay. So when people complain, or... What? The first complaint? No, I don't believe you, Tor. "Why aren't we just running Git merge and the next day release it like, hey, here's studio"?
