Is Insulin Resistance the Cause of Disease?
My theory is in some resistance is simply liver damage. As the damage to the liver cells happens, the conversion of those things to fat slows down. And so you ultimately get a rise in your sugar levels. Ultimately as long as sugar is elevated, insulin is elevated. So insulin is not the cause of disease. It's like obesity or BC's have the cause of Disease. The things that got you obese are actually the cause of Diabetes.
