The Effects of Fever on the Immune System
We do think of fever as a symptom, and I think that has to change. The second aspect that is also very important is not just taking the antibiotics at the time of an infection. There's well-documented survival advantage in fish and other cobalt vertebrates, but also mammals. Rabbits, are we rindered pests, for example, survive much better if you allow them to have that fever response.
