The Importance of Knowledge in Life

I remember coming to the UK a long time ago and getting into conversations with people about how it's amazing how you don't know anything about all of our countries. I was originally on the side of like, oh, I should feel totally ashamed by this. But then eventually I kind of changed my mind on it. Like, wait a minute, why would I know the details of like how the politics in France works? And we should know how the electoral system in France works; but I shouldn't be proud that I don't.
