The Tech Lap: A Different Conversation About Technology

I started writing this piece probably in the summer of 2019. The context for it was thinking about the so-called tech lash, where we started to have a different conversation about technology. Ordinary people are more critical of these firms than they ever have been before. How do we make an intervention that capitalizes on this moment and that channels some of that critical energy towards a deeper conversation?
