The tea party was in response to the a bale out at the end of the bush and beginning the obama administration. And they used some libertarian rhetoric, because therare people like raw and paul thought it was a libertarian movement. They ne dig down into what a lot of these people wanted and ther the policy that they wanted weren't libertarian at all. The result is a populist age with people like donald trump and burney sanders on different sides.
