Hardware Design Engineers - Should We Give Them a Break?
High level synthesis basei takes c code and then creates parallel hardware designs from that sea cote. In its domain it can be incredibly good, streaming d s p style designs at things where you're doing a lot of operations,. like edditions within four loops. The fact that this can be turned into hard where is still very, very cool. It's just that it's not clear that there are that many sort of designd domains ats that good act.
