The only place we can get a full spectrum of vitamin K2 is in animal foods. Vitamin K1 intake not correlated with any decreased incidence of heart disease, studies show. People will take vitamin D with K2, which makes sense for most people who are not getting animal foods or rich sources of K2 in animal meats.
