The Good Soldier
When I went to Harvard for a master's, his novel The Good Soldier was on the syllabus. He wasn't one of the writers I studied as an undergraduate in Cambridge. But he kept coming up in connection with other writers like this without the conrant. And then I moved on to Parade Zen, the series of four novels that Ford did write about the war and I was really bowled over by them too.
