The Importance of the Resurrection of Jesus Christ

Today we get to celebrate this fact that not only has Christ conquered death by his death, but he's brought us new life by his resurrection. That's why the resurrection of Jesus Christ is an historical fact. There are some modern Christians who will say things like, well, you know, he didn't really have to physically rise. He just rose in the hearts of the apostles. The flesh is the hinge of salvation without the flesh. None of us are saved. Not without the resurrection of the body.
