Ex-Mormons Are More Likely to Leave Religion
Former Mormons are significantly more likely to be dropouts who claim no religious preference than those who leave other denominations. The disaffiliated or what is called nuns has been steadily growing nationally. In 2008, the nun population doubled from 14.3 million to 34.2 million. By 2014, the disaffiliated population had grown to 22.8% of the population.
