I spent a lot of time thinking about this question I think it's a fascinating question and even with my first book hooked I in there's a whole chapter in there about what's called the manipulation matrix. The opposite of persuasion is coercion coercion unlike persuasion which is helping people do things they themselves want to do but for lack of good product design don't do that’s perfectly ethical. When you get people to do something that they later regret not only are they not going to do business with you ever again they're going to tell all their friends on social media not to dobusiness with you either so it's a very bad business practice trying to trick people into doing something they don't want
