Deliberate Practice in Games Based Approaches
The American Soccer Association, US Soccer Federation of Coin Tactical Games is to call it play practice play. They start with a game form and then do a skill session in the middle and then go back to a game at the end. And for some teachers and coaches starting out, that could be a way to get yourself going. The tactical games model does it in a different way. It short circuits that six step process to a three step process, game skill game.
