The Church Is a Get When You Think Like Church Gatherings

In Titus two, five, Paul tells Christian wives to be submissive to their husbands so that God's message will not be slandered. If the church gained a reputation as a breeding ground for unsumissive wives, it would have been severely criticized by people in power and possibly shut down by the governing authorities. This doesn't mean this is important statement. It does mean that Paul has a good missionary navigating the delicate balance between being theologically counter cultural without being overtly socially and politically disruptive.
