Lightning and the Layer Two Protocol

Nate: I think this is really kind of highlighting one of the not challenges that sort of like interface between lightning, which is layer two and layer one. Lightning's ability to function relies on its relationship to being able to get transactions into blocks on the layer one. And so maybe there's something we as like protocol developers on the lightning side need to fix or as lightning implementers,. Maybe there's something with our implementation that we need to take a look at and fix for the next time. Lisa: One of the things I think that like this particularly high fee environment starts to highlight though, is like the relationship between lightning payments and on chain.
