Multiple Sclerosis - Is MSG a Polygenic Disease?

This gene is located on chromosome 5, and it's a member of the immunoglobulin superfamily. MSG plays a very important role in the development of MS by regulating pro-inflammatory cytokines. So I think in the next few years we'll have some really amazing breakthroughs that might alter the course of the diseases such as MS and lupus and others. Very, very excited about it.
