Silicon Valley Bank and Moody's Analytics Credit Rating
Moody's Analytics informed Silicon Valley Bank that they were going to downgrade the bank's credit rating. The idea was we're going to sell some extra stock, probably to some private equity investment. Unfortunately for them, that didn't happen quick enough. They weren't able to raise the money in time from outside investors and their stock just absolutely tanked.
