Raymond Talis is author of many works of philosophy, including one on his hero Paminides. We know remarkably little about this extraordinary man. He argued that the world consisted of a single undifferentiated block of being. And how did he arrive at these extraordinary conclusions? Well he argued very simply that what is is and what is not is not.
