Up untill recently, if we wanted to acknowledge human stinctiveness, the truth is as that had a real squishy vibe. So so with the rise of these standardized tests and the underlying mathematics behind it, which are not wrong for the right purpose, they're just wrong if you're trying to understand an individual person. To do that, you've really got to believe that there's enough standardization and consistency in the system to make these marks somehow valid. But to students like catherine quavewho we heard from earlier, it often does not feel consistent or fair.
