I Have Composed a Third Kind of Book Against the Papacy

Luther's works are not all of one sort. Some deal with faith and life so simply and evangelically that even my enemies think them worthy of reading. Not even the papal bull treated all my books as if they were one kind. Should i recant at this point, i would open the door to more tyranny and impiety. I have also composed a third kind of book against private individuals who have defended the tyranny of rome. But again, i cannot renounce these works because in doing so, i would be giving sanction to their cruelty. Illustrious princes prove to me by the writings of the prophets and apostles that i am in error. If i am i will instantly
