There's this market for expert attention and at the moment it's incredibly inefficient. Email actually reduced it really pretty substantially. Science is like fantastic at replacing ideas, some grad student or in some cases outsider can have a really good new idea that will top all the Nobel Prize winners. But science has a terrible growth model for institutional ideas. And what's needed is a way of overcoming that sclerosis going on there.
