The society of activity pub and Mastodon instances or whatever needs many many more years to get a healthy society. People are going to go through honeymoon periods threads is great it's hang out let's have fun years of that but then eventually Facebook will start doing annoying stuff the client will get annoying like all the same stuff that happens with Twitter will happen with with threads right? i hope that if if they actually federate with activity pub stuff that the world of activity pub will be ready in a few years to accept the migration in a way that we're not now. I'm hoping for again optimistic scenario you know setting aside if thread just fails completely which would be great.
