There is almost always more variance within an organization than there is between organizations. One of the mistakes I see a lot of leaders make is they try to shove their values down other people's throats and say look you have to agree with my principles. If you want to explain your idea, help other people fulfill values that they already hold right so if you can understand what are their identities and show them how adopting your idea will actually allow them to be the person they want to be or think they are then they will say yeah this makes a ton of sense and I want to get behind that.
