The Michelangelo Virus - You Got the Pieces

John McAfee claimed the Michelangelo virus was going to disable 5 million PCs when it started. He released a special antivirus program built solely around Michelangelo. It didn't really do any damage, but not a significant number of machines got hit. John McAfee succeeded in drumming up enough fear about viruses that every major company had to have his software on its computers.
