Six cars assembled in new york on the twelfth february, 19 o eight. There were supposed to be 13, but seven of them pulled out for various reasons before the race began. The plan was to drive across the bering strait right inthe midle of the winter,. drive across siberia into europe, and then finish in paris. And that was going to be the whole race.
