Scientists used a new type of censor to measure energy in fly nerons. They found that the cell is much smarter than we thought. It may have a very brief moment of time where a t p falls, but it immediately responds by kind of increasing energy production and a t p levels. And so the idea is what the cell is doing is guessing how much energy will it need in the future, so that it can increase its energy production right now to anticipate that future need.
