Polycarp and Papias Know the Apostle John
Did Papias and or Polycarp know the apostle John? And how reliable are their statements that the apostle John was the author of the gospel of John? Well, neither one does say that. That's a modern myth. Spread among conservative evangelicals. It doesn't. I'm not sure that the author has kind of thought about the implications of that. Just, you know, you don't think women are useful for things, except for having babies. Always an interesting point of view to hear that one.
