The Importance of Being a Corporate Lawyer

After law school, you went to work for a law firm. It wasn't really your long term goal to be a corporate lawyer. In fact, it was anti everything I wanted to do. After about five years at the firm, it was time to decide either I'm going to buckle down and work hard and make partner or it's time to leave. And so around five years, I started looking for a position in house and a communications company. But by that time I had started doing communications law, which I really loved. By that time I didn't even mind working for communications companies because I thought they were doing good things.
