i tw p is an open source network that aims to provide strong privacy for its users. It uses a live analysis tool called sibil, which measures things like the closeness of router ip addresses. The system also organizes routers into families run by known operators such as university of new york and germany. There's no authentication or identity tied with i tw p so when you do have anyone running an od, attacks are always a threat there.
