There are hundreds of people dying every day on both sides in this area. The russian advance is centered on a crescent surrounds a city called savera donetsk. Most of the city has now fallen to russia.
The US is spending billions to arm Ukraine against Russian invaders. But without the proper training or supplies, Javelin missiles can only do so much.
