QE, Could It Undermine the Fed's Independence?
Even if we go through the kind of time we're going through right now, we could still end up all else equal in a better place in terms of public finance. The issue of how would this play politically and put it under mind that independence, I think that does concern at least me. And there's a real risk that this is politically very hard.
